As a division of Koller Enterprises and SLP Lighting, we build upon a legacy of US manufacturing that began in 1941. All of our products are designed, assembled and shipped from our SMT assembly operation in Troy, Michigan.

Precision at Scale: High-Speed LED Assembly
This Surface Mount Technology (SMT) pick-and-place machine uses vacuum-tipped nozzles to pick individual LEDs from a feeder and place them onto a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) at high speed. This automated process is the backbone of modern LED manufacturing, delivering accuracy and consistency far beyond what's possible by hand.
The red light is part of the machine's vision system, creating high contrast so high-speed cameras can detect each LED's exact orientation mid-air and ensure precise placement on the solder pads.
